Web Stuff

Whoa! ... One word to describe the web and what I've been learning. Steve's last day was Wednesday at McAfee. He's embarking on a great opportunity at PayPal. Good luck Steve! I'll miss having such a good resource a cubicle over.. I've been developing more and more with CSS/JavaScript etc... This stuff is so frickin' cool, but also so overwhelming. I thought I knew so much, but lately I feel like I know so little! I just know I like designing and developing websites, and right now, I have plenty of projects to keep me busy...

I repeat myself

Okay, I just read my last post and I am saying the same thing as I said in my post a few days ago! I do this alot. Around my birthday, I kept saying "it's almost my birthday" like a million times without even realizing it!! I guess there's a reason I'm not a novelist.

Okay, I just read my last post and I am saying the same thing as I said in my post a few days ago! I do this alot......HAHA just kidding..

New Condo owner

Finally! I've found a condo and my offer was taken! I liked the complex the best out of what i have seen and not much "remodeling" will need to be done. It's the biggest condo I've seen since I started my search. It has 2 patios and a 2 car garage with tons of storage. The complex has a pond in it and a pool/spa with clubhouse.

House Hunting

I haven't posted in a while because I've been a little bit busy. Sometimes so busy that my head feels as if it were on the verge of exploding. I've been fortunate to have alot of interest in my design services. I've also been house shopping..ok well I live in California so it's more like Condo shopping, cubby-hole shopping even.

Well I put an offer on a 2 story 2 bed 2 bath condo. The complex is pretty much dumpy looking as are most in my price range, but the layout was incredible. It felt like a real home inside and not your usual apartment style condo. Well I was not taken up on my offer, but a week later the place was back up for sale. I guess the previous winners loan fell through. So I bid again, only to have the realtor/seller not want to accept it because they want multiple offers. They even had an open house. Jerks. Luckily, I found a cheaper, large 1 bedroom place that actually has a nice complex. So I pulled out of the race for the other unit and I am about to make a nice offer on this 1 bed place. Luckily since it's so much cheaper than the 2 bed place, I have alot more buying power. I have room to bid more if I have to.

The 1 bed place has 2 big balconies, 2 car tandom garage, LOTS of storage, and is spacious. I would be stoked to get it. It has marble and wood flooring and the complex has a pool/spa, and rec room. I guess we will see if they take my offer.
