Busy Season

I've been busy lately at McAfee. Doing alot of updates and reworking the UI for McAfee Managed Services. This weekend I am going to the Channel Islands off California's coast for Omar's birthday celebration. We are going to the "Santa Cruz" island which should be pretty fun. I hear you can go snorkeling, hiking, picnicking etc... We will probably go to the santa barbara summer solstice festival on Sunday.

Hitting Birthday season too, including my own July 14th!

Bud Light Radio Ads

Rich sent me this link which lists a series of sarcastic bud light "Mr. --" ads in mp3 format. Listed are ads such as "Mr. SAll You Can Eat Buffet Inventor", "Mr. Pro Sports Hecler Guy", and many more..

Boston is neat!

Today was a super FULL day! Last night we got on the red eye flight for Boston at 10pm. Sonia and I had to sit seperate from each other since they were standby tickets. I had to sit between two people and it sucked! The whole time I kept thinking of how I wish the CEOs of the airlines HAD to sit in the coach section so they can realize how messed up it is to have people share ONE arm rest. WHAT THE! what about the dude who has to sit between two people! that dude would be me..It's messed up when you spend a 5 hour flight trying to battle to get to put your arms on both armrests, especially when you have wide shoulders. So I didn't get a wink of sleep and I saw the sunrise. We had a connecting flight out of Newark, NJ at 630 am and that sucked as well. I was the middle child again!

Anyway, we got into Boston and Sonia's luggage was late, but at least she got it! We met up with Lee after we got dropped off the "T". Boston is awesome! I love the young crowd, the cool architecture, the history, not to mention Amanda's place is pretty cool. I knew I'd like it when I saw a new powermac and 23" screen and mac laptops all over the place! ;)

We took a much needed nap from 12:30 to about 3pm (Boston time) and then powered through the day. We first ate at America's oldest restaurant, Ye Old Union Oyster House, which was AWESOME!!! It had a neat pirate feel to it, screaming "history". The seafood was so good. Lee had Lobster, I had Scrod, Sonia had Shrimp. The clam chowder and cornbread was amazing. Then we walked all around and did some shopping and walking.

Headed for Boston, MA

I haven't posted much lately because I've been so busy with work and life. I'm leaving for Boston in about 2 hours and I'm still at work! Yipes! Luckily, I finished an emergency problem here at work and I'm now about to leave. I will be going to Boston for a wedding and some touring. I've been twice before but each time was for a very small amount of time and I basically got a quick walk through the area. It's supposed to be warm and muggy season there so I better figure out what I'm bringing...

Drive Around The World, Please!

We went hiking in Los Gatos yesterday evening and noticed these cool looking off-road machines! I would love to drive around the world (for Parkinson's disease research) in these land rovers and camp out everywhere .. how cool would that be! I would love it. Here is the website, I just need to find out how I can become a member!
