Well, of course, I forgot my camera AGAIN! I forgot it for the napa trip AND the yosemite trip. Luckily, I have a camera phone with video...so I want to post some of the clips of Anthony, Christine, and Sonia going into the ICE COLD river for a quick dip. I was too chicken to do it myself. I am a real baby about cold water. I put my feet in the river and they fell off. Just kidding, actually they started to burn because they were so ice cold, but it felt good!
i've been really busy with work and side projects lately. I haven't had time or anything interesting to blog about. I went to Napa Valley on saturday and Yosemite on Sunday and Santa Cruz on monday. It was nice to get away during the holiday weekend. I opted not to go to socal because I wasn't in the mood to do a long drive especially since I was not able to get an additional day off to make it a four day weekend.
Ok, I hate when I see a new invention or product that is so simple yet so effective and I briefly thought about the problem but never thought of the solution. This is a perfect of example of a problem many people have in their house and think "it sucks that i can't plug in this plug with that plug because it doesn't fit", but never though..."hey, what if i made it swivel and sell it and become a gazillionare!" jeez!
I am not really sure if anybody has ever found it, but I have a downloads section that will let you download the original Nintendo emulator with 80 games as well as the original Atari.
I was curious about who was the artist for the Gorillaz. So I did a search and found out his name is Jamie Hewlitt from Mexico. Well, he is the original creator, but I am pretty sure other artists have done the animation for the videos etc..

When I saw this picture, I said "What the~?!~" I don't know about you but this is so gross! I had just talked with my brother about some "humanzee" that exists originating from Africa. Apparently, a "humanzee" is half human and half chimpanzee. He saw a special about him on Discovery channel. Omar said it was freaky to watch. The original owner got freaked out when the humanzee began to hump his leg. yipes!Yesterday, Sonia and I visited Napa Valley. It is pretty htere and smells awesome. The weather was a bit drabbish. It was muggy and lightly rainy. The wine tasted good. I bought a bottle of Origins Cabernet Sauvignon which was lovely. We had a picnic of sharp white cheddar cheese, red seedless grapes, and caramel chocolate. I bought all kinds of neat soft drinks in bottles. We later dined at Mustard's Grill. I had the "truckstop" (Ribeye steak, with yum-mo asparagus and banana fingerling potatoes. Sonia got the tender pulled-pork bbq sandwich with chips. We ate these lightly delicious onion "rings" as an appetizer. They reminded me of the onion cake at the Hunan Taste in san jose. We got home about 8:30pm and I worked on some pencil media projects for a client.

I received the latest issue of Communication Arts magazine and it has inspired me. I want to create something like this lamp. I think it's such a cool looking thing. My girlfriend has this type of lighting in her room, but her lamp is all groovy old apartment-like. It would be neat to build this lamp and surprise her. It might time for a trip to the hardware store.
